Flip Tricks

Flip tricks are mostly used when street skating.
Basics
Firstly you will need to find which stance you are, if you already know this will not apply. If you are regular you will travel with the left foot in front of you at the front of the board. The other stance is called "goofy" this is the opposite of the last stance your right foot will be at the front of the deck.
Other Basics
In these tips I will talk about turning frontside and backside. "Frontside" this is where you turn and you can see where you are going e.g. if you are regular you will turn left and if you are goofy you will turn to the right from the way you are traveling .
Ollie

To ollie stand with your rear foot on the tail of the board, this is one of the kickers and have the other foot somewhere in the middle of the deck so that it is comfortable. Once this has been done you will need to pop the board to do this you need to jump and push the tail down with your rear foot when this has been done you will also need to slide your other foot up the board and this will level it out and make it an ollie. Both of these action need to be done at the same time to gain any height off the ground. To get a higher ollie you need to simply jump higher and make sure the board stays with your feet.
Kickflip

To do a kickflip you have to do an ollie and then slide your foot off the end of the board and jump towards the nose of your board.
Heelflip

To heelflip stand in the ollie position and then move the foot in the middle of the board to the top so your toes hang off the edge. Then slide the foot up and at the end kick it with your heel and the board will spin. Catch it with your back foot and land it.
Pop Shovit

Stand in the ollie position and then ollie but at the same time kick your foot on the tail backwards and the other on forwards and the board will spin. To catch it jump forward when doing the trick and you will land it.
Varial Kickflip

This is a pop shovit kickflip. Stand in the pop shovit position and thendo a popshovit. Just as the board leaves the ground kick your foot forwards and the deck will spin. If you jumped forwards when doing this you would land a varial kickflip.
Varial Heelflip

This is the same as the varial kickflip but it is the opposite way around. Follow the varial kickflip instructions and then do it backwards.

Grab Tricks

Grab tricks are mostly used when vert skating.
Nose Grab

Do an ollie and grab the nose and then let go.
Indy

Do an ollie and then grab the front of the deck and then let go.
Tail Grab

This is the opposite of the nose grab. Ollie and then grab the tail.

Grinds/Slides

Grinds and Slides are used on ramps and when street skating.
50-50 Grind

Ollie on to a rail/curb/ledge and grind on both trucks and then drop off.
5-0 Grind

Ollie on to a rail/curb/ledge and grind on the back truck with the other in the air and then drop off.
Feeble Grind

This is like a 5-0 grind but when the board is in the air it needs to be turned right.
Smith Grind

This is like a 5-0 grind but when you get on the rail/curb/ledge face it to the left and down.
Nose Grind

This grind is the opposite of a 5-0. Ther back truck has to be in the air.
Crooked (K) Grind

This is similar to a nosegerind but when it back truck is in the air turn it to the right.
Boardslide

To boardslide a rail do a 90 degree ollie on to it and keep balanced and then drop off.
Noseslide

To noseslide a curb ride next to obne then put your foot on to the nose and swing it into place and then slide then drop off. For higher ledges you need to ollie.
Tailslide

To do a tailslide you approch a ledge or curb and do a 90 degree ollie so the tail lands on it and then you slide and drop off.
Darkslide

To Darkslide a ledge you need to do a half Kickfilp/Heelflip at a 90 degree angle and then slide. To drop off you need to push down on one of the ends of the board and then land onto the board.
